Reza Shekarriz, Ph.D. – Reza is an innovator with demonstrated hands-on leadership in several leading edge technology companies. His role has been to bridge the gap between academic research findings and market opportunities through innovative engineering solutions and high impact R&D program initiation and execution, and product development leadership. Reza received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, was a post-doctoral fellow at the Johns Hopkins University and a Staff Scientist at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. He has over 100 publications, reports and patents in multiphase flows, micro-/nanofluidics, MEMS, non-invasive sensing and measurements, and drops and particles manipulation through electrohydrodynamic and acoustophoretic phenomena.

Debra Friedrichsen, Ph.D. – Debra has more than 13 years of experience in air and water sampling, gas sensor design and development, and systems modeling and analysis. She has a strong foundation in successful prototype development. As a chemical engineer she is able to create prototypes and to model their behavior for quick and continuous improvement. Debra holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering and M.B.A., both from Oregon State University.

Grayson Silaski – Grayson leads the electronics development at Fluid Analytics. With more than 35 years of experience in electronics instrumentation design and development, Grayson is extremely well-versed in analog and digital circuits and firmware development. He has held numerous engineering positions in medical and advanced instrumentation companies, and for the past 25 years has worked as an independent product development consultant in the Pacific Northwest.
