Our technology portfolio is filled with several
innovative MEMS-based and microfluidics components and systems that
together provide complete products in several areas. Fluid Analytics
has a number of issued and pending patents, and invention disclosures
that cover most of our technologies under development.
Our product development priorities are in the four product groups as
outlined below:
Particle Concentrators
Suite of aerosol and hydrosol concentrators,
and biosensors. Ask about our proprietary technologies. An overview of
our hydrosol concentrator is available for download (428KB).
Chemical Sensors and Scrubbers
In addition to our ethylene and alkene sensor, we are currently
delpoying devices to detect a number of other gases simultaneously,
using our electrochemical sensing platform. A brief description of our
sensing technologies is available for download
(417KB)
An extension to our sensor technology is an electrocatalytic scrubber that provides active control of an analyte in a closed container or room. This proprietary technology can be combined with our gas sensors, to create an efficient, dual-function system to address hazardous chemicals such as formaldehyde, CO, ammonia, and a host of other analytes. A brief description of this active scrubber technology is available for download. (928KB)
Microscale Heatsinks
Our autonomous liquid-cooled thermal management system (ATMS) is used
for microelectronic cooling. Our rotational thermal conductivity device
can characterize the amount of heat transfer enhancement expected from
nanofluids. A technology summaries for ATMS is
available for download (539KB).
Thermal Conductivity Instrument
Our thermal conductivity instrument is an advanced laboratory-grade instrument for measuring
the shear-dependent thermal conductivity of liquids, slurries,
colloids, and molten polymers. Unlike typical
static-measurement instruments, the instrument can quantify the thermal
behavior of a flowing fluid, to more accurately simulate real-world
processes. Datasheet
